The Total Tutor of NE’s misson is simple: provide a variety of high quality services to help students be successful during this school year. Tutoring is not only done to support your child’s school day but to also help families manage education in an uncertain time. After years of working in both the classroom and as a private tutor, I have extensive expertise to encourage and engage students to make learning enjoyable.

After listening to parents, teachers and students, I have decided to create a hybrid tutoring program to provide students and parents with educational support. I am providing a safe, structured environment where you and your child are given help and assistance for a successful school year. Students will meet with me in a safe 1:1 setting (that will be thoroughly sanitized before each session) where we go over daily classwork. Two times a week I offer "Open Zoom" sessions where I answer any questions students are having with their classwork and/or homework. Parent workshops will also be given to help families with this upcoming school year.
I have an extensive educational background and am well versed in current trends and practices. I specialize in working with students who have reading difficulties, learning difficulties, ADHD and processing delays.

The Total Tutor offers both online and 1:1 services to help meet the needs of individual learners. Sessions are targeted to help your student understand concepts and materials according to their learning style. This is not a cookie cutter approach.

As a certified reading instructor, I will be able to focus specifically on the needs of your learner. You will see dramatic improvement in your child's reading and comprehension levels, and reading will no longer be a struggle for both you and your child.

With "The Total Tutor" I offer parents Zoom and online help sessions to address how to help your child with online learning. This open communication ensures success for both your student and you!

Realizing that students and their families are all different, the services provided enable both students and their families assistance in navigating education in a changing world. After listening to parents concerns, workshops and blogs for parents are an additional resource provided. Also included are 2 hours of “Open Zoom Meetings” where students can ask questions and get help in addition to weekly 1:1 in person tutoring.
